THE OUTLANDER APPROACH
Every campground, recreation space, and park system possesses its own unique set of characteristics—from varied landscapes and attractions to diverse technologies and operational systems. At Outlander, we honor this uniqueness through a personalized approach tailored to each client, involving three main phases: Observation and Research, Project Proposal(s), and Project Implementation. Optionally, we also offer Post-Implementation Management.
Observation & Research
Our engagement begins with a deep dive into understanding your specific recreation space. Outlander starts this phase by researching your park, assessing its online presence, branding, accessible information, nearby attractions, and other pertinent details. We then arrange a complimentary in-person site visit to thoroughly understand your accommodations and facilities, technology and operational processes, customers and staff, as well as to identify potential opportunities and existing inefficiencies. These site visits are meticulously planned and can span several consecutive days if necessary. Additional research and data collection may be conducted following this visit to adequately prepare for the project proposal phase.
Project Proposal(s)
Following the comprehensive observation and research phase, Outlander may suggest one or more projects tailored to your needs. These proposals can originate from specific requests by you or innovative ideas from our team. Each proposal will detail the project timeline, scope, estimated costs, critical review points, and terms and conditions. This stage allows for negotiation, ensuring that the final agreement aligns with both parties' expectations and objectives. Upon reaching a mutual agreement and signing the proposal, the project moves forward to the implementation stage.
Project Implementation
Once a proposal has been agreed upon and signed, the innovative process begins. This phase is iterative, featuring multiple checkpoints to ensure the highest quality and satisfaction before declaring the project complete. While Outlander is committed to delivering results as swiftly as possible, the timeline for completion can vary from a few weeks to several months, depending on the project's scale. As completion approaches, the project will be integrated with your park's existing systems and undergo rigorous testing to confirm its effectiveness. Following full implementation, a brief support period is provided to resolve any unexpected issues, train staff on new systems or processes, and ensure your complete satisfaction. Should the project require ongoing management and updates, provisions for a separate management contract can be discussed.
Management
Post-implementation management is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the innovations implemented. Outlander offers continued support and management services to ensure that your new systems or improvements are not only sustained but also evolve with your changing needs. This phase includes regular maintenance, updates as necessary, and troubleshooting to address any issues that may arise. Additionally, we provide periodic reviews and consultations to assess the performance of the implemented solutions and make adjustments if needed. This proactive approach helps to maximize the longevity and impact of the innovations, keeping your facilities at the forefront of excellence and efficiency. A management contract can be customized to suit the specific needs and goals of your park, ensuring a seamless transition into everyday operations and long-term success.
